Has anyone seen the latest on the debates?

The Bush administration will only agree to 2 out of the 3 scheduled debates. Both of them must have preselected questions and they refuse to do a townhall style debate where constituents can ask any question of the canidates they feel is necessary.

Does this strike you funny? Bush should be able to talk about these things when asked of him. Now what his PR team tells him to say. Bush's team knows they're facing a uphill battle in debates becuase Kerry has things to say. Bush just has all his old lines to fall back on. "I appreciate your concerns bla bla bla" sorry Mr Bush but I get that every day with our foreign customer support. Do the 3rd debate Mr Bush.. I'm sure those Texans for Truth will give you the 50,000 dollar reward for your service record proof as it would be a goldmine of proof that you're not fit for the office yesterday, today, or tomorrow.

9/11 Forgotten

Saturday morning and I'm on the way to work. If you don't normally listen to CNN or FoxNews then you've probably already forgotten what today is. Even the radio stations never made a mention of today.

I guess we forget anything that does not end up as a national holiday.

Cheney Lies Nobody Dies

Dick Cheney is on a new track with the battle for the White House. He's finally taken his hand out of George Bush's ass and is now stumping around saying that if you vote for Kerry then America will suffer another terrorist act.

Mr Cheney any terrorist act that would occur anytime soon is a failure on your and the entire Bush administration. Kerry would not even be in charge for another 4 months after the election and that's considering if you don't have another Katherine Harris in the works somewhere else and were stuck counting ballots again.

Telling Americans they're going to suffer death and destruction if they don't vote for you amounts to political terrorism and by making these statements you're lowering yourself to the level of a terrorist.

How'd Bush Win?

Lets take another crack at Georgie Porgie today.

In 1998 Florida became the first state to pass a law that gave
responsibility for managing voter eligibility to a private corporation.

Corporation: Choicepoint/DBT

Charman: GOP Veteran Frank Borman

Other GOP Vets on board: Ken Langone, Bernie Marcus, Howard Safir, and
Vin Weber

Kathrine Harris: Ex Sec of State, Bush Campaign Manager in Florida

May 1999 DBT provided list of ex felons to scrub from list of eligle voters.

8000 Voters Removed

Katherine Harris ordered that she also wanted those who shared
birthdays and surnames with these felons to also have their names
removed from lists of eligble voters.

This list then grew to 58,000 voters.

Gore Lost by: 537 Votes!

None of this information was independently verified by the state or
another independent body.

DBT Admitted 15% Error Rate

Independent investigation found that the list was 95% inaccurate!.

That's 55,100 voters that were illegally removed from those eligable to
vote.

Who gets punished? Nobody.. In 2002 Katherine Harris was elected to
the US House as a Congresswoman.

Why is this important?

If you know anyone who has had anything end up on their credit or denied
employment due to errors in these corporations that "Manage Information"
you have some idea how much hell they go through. People are constantly
harassed for things they do not owe and they suffer in their pocketbooks
for those reasons. If you dont know anyone then I suggest you visit
http://www.creditboards.com and see some of the horror stories in there.

These companies have no form of oversight to enforce compliance with the
law. The burden of proof is up to the consumer wether it's their
problem or not. This should give you an idea how irresponsible it would
be to put any type of voter eligibility lists into their hands. Not
only do they have no regulation of what they do they're extremely
political and I would not put it past them for a few mistakes to be
inserted into the databases to influence votes. Perhaps this is what
happened in Florida?

What if they managed the top 15 most populous states voter records?
With the same mistakes and problems they caused in Florida what hell
could they cause then?

Why worry about terrorists 10,000 miles away when corporate terrorists
own our private information and screw it up on a daily basis?

Does Bush really care? I doubt it since his work has made debt
collection agencies billions with the recession and other factors that
have caused the American public to fall on hard times only to be preyed
on by the vultures that helped elect him in the first place.

Think about it.

Numb

I've probably asked about 30 people that I now about the recent slaughter at the hands of terrorism. To tell any of them that more than 150 children were killed and all you mostly hear is that's sad. It seems to be a sad fact that we as Americans are so used to hearing of atrocities on a daily basis that we just pass this off as another happening. Just because it did not happen in the United States does not mean it will not happen. Al Quaeda is recruiting chechnian terrorists to infiltrate the U.S. and it's those terrorists that will be carrying out attacks. Does that not worry anyone? Or do we just not care until it happens?

Russian Hostage Massacare

For those who want to see other's comments you can read them here on the bbc's blog.

For those responsible. There is no cause for what you have done. And for that it may be your children that eventually pay the ultimate price for your actions.

Lies on Unemployment

Looks like Bush is probably giving himself a pat on the back this morning. The jobs report states 144,000 jobs were created in August, and the unemployment rate dropped to 5.4%.

Here's where I have a problem. We had 3 months of triple digit job gains and the percentage stuck at 5.6% the entire time. One bad month in July of 32,000 jobs but it dropped to 5.5%. Ok so it was just on the edge of a percentage and it was enough to push it down .1% fine. However I just don't see how another 144,000 jobs would make it drop another .1%. The math does not support it so either the 144,000 number is too low or someone is lying about the report.

Swift Vets Of Lies

It's funny how a group of people that claim to tell the truth refuse to tell the whole truth. Have you seen their latest ad? They basically claim that Kerry said that soldiers in Vietnam killed, raped, and ravaged south Vietnam during the war. What they don't tell you is that Kerry is reading the minutes of a meeting that occurred prior to the hearing and Kerry is only repeating what he was asked to report on.

I also like how this doctor said he treated Kerry for his wounds and is trying to say they were self inflicted. I'm sure that Kerry was one of hundreds if not thousands of soldiers and people this doctor has treated over the years. I doubt he remembers and if he could actually do that then he must provide excellent service to his clients. With a memory like his who needs charts? Either way I doubt the truth of his statement that he remembered Kerry.
